This is the goal of DBT, a type of cognitive behavior therapy rooted in mindful awareness of our emotions and choices. This program was developed to reach individuals that didn’t respond well to other interventions, targeting emotional regulation.
To help individuals cope more effectively and improve mental health, I have taken skills taught in DBT and other behavior therapies to create Cope Well, with the purpose of mastering emotional awareness through Mindful Behavior Therapy. I elaborate on behavior therapy concepts, bringing in coping strategies to reach those struggling with challenging behaviors.
My goal is to help others build a life worth living. For me, this is success.
